10.05.2008:Phoebe eats starfruits and BLATs
What a sad lack of updating! I've eaten so much good food, too. Unfortunately, when I got back from my trip, I was first behind in schoolwork, then horribly ill, then behind in schoolwork again. I'm finally almost caught up with things, caught up enough that I don't feel like my head will explode if I bloggyblogblog.
Pictured above is a lovely starfruit purchased from Publix. It was probably just about the only thing I enjoyed eating when I was running a fever. Luckily, they're full of vitamin C.
Just a note, you're apparently not supposed to eat these if you have kidney disorders. They can kill you. Hardcore!
As the illness waned, I made one of my favorite things: a sandwich. Specifically, a BLT. What is it about these three things that go so well together?
As you can see, I didn't just use bacon in my sandwich--I used America's Favorite: Bacon! Truth be told, this wasn't even technically a BLT. It also had apple slices in it. So a BLAT? Also, it had mayonnaise. And some horseradish sauce. And bread. So, more like a BBLATHM.
I microwaved the bacon for maximum laziness. As you can see, I had quite a bit of trouble taking a picture of myself eating a sandwich.
Success!
